Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Mahalanobis Systems ("we", "us") collects through mahalsystems.ai and our applications, including when you sign in with Google, and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Contact form. If you contact us, we receive the name, company, email address and message you enter.
• Google account data. If you sign in to one of our applications with Google, we receive only the information covered by the permissions you approve on Google's consent screen. This typically includes your name, email address and profile picture, and may include other data a specific feature needs, which Google shows you before you agree.
• Technical data. Our hosting providers may log standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
• Visitor analytics. Our website uses Leadfeeder, which sets a cookie and uses your IP address to identify the organization a visit comes from and the pages viewed. We use this to understand which businesses are interested in our services. This applies to our website only, not to data received from Google.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiries.
• To sign you in and provide the features you ask for.
• To keep our services secure and working properly.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Google user data

We use data received from Google APIs only to provide and improve the user-facing features of our applications that you have chosen to use. We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not use it for advertising, and people at Mahalanobis Systems do not read it unless you ask us to, it is needed for security, or the law requires it. We do not use it to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.

Mahalanobis Systems' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run our services, such as our website host (GitHub Pages), our form processor (Formspree), our email provider (Google Workspace) and our website analytics provider (Leadfeeder), and only as needed for them to provide those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing ops@mahalsystems.ai, and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies from Leadfeeder for visitor analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect it.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
